In short you can eat anything. Of course having a healthy lifestyle is important for you and your family. But if you're not getting enough nutrition, the baby will be taking the calcium, vitamins and minerals out of your body and you won't be able to replace them. You should even discuss over the counter medication with your doctor.
A healthy balanced diet includes whole grains, fruits, vegetables, dairy, beans and lagoons. And of course lean meats. A healthy lifestyle includes all things in moderation including snacks, junk food, treats, alcohol and caffeine. It's ok to have a cup or two of coffee a day and an occasional alcohol beverage...
